More diving photos

Well, took a while to get the photos out, but here are the best of them…..  Fairly strong surge make it difficult to get a good shot, as the swell is moving you a meter or more at times! (I know, excuses excuses).


I have also found that I have become sea sick every time I have taken my camera out… coincidence???  I very rarely got sea sick before using my camera.  Oh well, tablets it is, cause I am not giving up the housing!

Starfish – possibly Nectra macrobrachia although the colour is too dark








Zoanthid of some sort, a colonial that resembles small anemones




Below are some of my favourite animals too, Nudibranchs (naked gills).  The variations in colours and shapes of these animals never ceases to amaze me!

I still don't know if any of this is stock worthy though…..  I don't think it is quite what designers would be after.

Out diving again on Saturday!

Well, I am headed out diving again on Saturday, these 5am starts are going to kill me though….

Pat’s 18th BBQ today

Well, had the whole family over for an 18th BBQ today.  While the day was really for Pat’s 18th, which is tomorrow.  one of my Canadian nephew Justin had his yesterday, and another Australian nephew Hasely had his birthday today as well!

Going out again on Saturday, hope to get some more shots, but they will not likely be this type, as the water where I am going is generally pretty murky.  Therefore I will have to shoot the small stuff with the macro lens.
