What’s your method for calculating a tip?   That’s the great thing about being Australian……  I don’t tip, and it is generally not expected! 😎   That said, if I do get *exceptional* service, I will tip about 10%

Canon MP-E 65mm

Well, I went nuts today and bought a Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5x macro lens, review here..

I am a sadist, I know I will have nothing but grief trying to get good shots with the shallow DOF on this thing. The amount of light it sucks makes focusing all but impossible! But it is soooo cool……

Well, maybe I was just grumpy….


Anne (bloodstone) just let me know she saw an image of mine used at Spend Less Shoes.  Needless to say I am all excited about seeing it for myself.  I have looked up the store and there are two near by.  I will have to stop by tomorrow and see if they are being used here as well as in Adelaide.


As for my frustrations, I think I will just avoid the off-topic form at iStock for a long while.

I am seriously wondering if I want to stay associated wiith iStock.



Maybe I am just in a stressed out and grumpy mood today, but I sure don't feel like staying this morning.
