Well, I went nuts today and bought a Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5x macro lens, review here..
I am a sadist, I know I will have nothing but grief trying to get good shots with the shallow DOF on this thing. The amount of light it sucks makes focusing all but impossible! But it is soooo cool……

You nut! 😉 We seem to have caught macro fever. I ordered the Tamron 90mm today. I am eager to see what you can achieve with this lens. Please post some images ASAP. 🙂

Actually I will be entertaining family as my parents and sister and brother-in-law arrive from Canada for a months visit. We will be heading up to Cairns and Proserpine, for a week and a half, so hopefully I will get some time to play!
